FREE Shipping
Absolutely, Free Shipping! We pay the shipping on all orders, large or small! We ship USPS Priority Mail, UPS ground, FedEx ground, and 2nd day air depending on what is ordered, and where it is shipped. At the present time we only ship to the lower 48 states. We do not ship to PO, or APO addresses; you must provide a street address.
Due to the perishable nature of our products we are not responsible for damaged decadent sweets or melted gourmet chocolates; if you (or the recipient of a gift) are not present at the time of delivery, and damage occurs as a result of delay in claiming the package.
When having an order shipped to an address make sure someone will be there to accept the package. Shipping to a business address is better than a residence address, but make sure both postal and parcel deliveries are made there.
Summer Shipping
Most orders are sent UPS or FedEx ground. However, due to warm weather conditions, especially during the summer months, we reserve the right to ship 2nd day air, with insulated cartons, and cold packs or dry ice, at our expense, to assure that your chocolates and decadent sweets arrive in perfect condition. Also we reserve the right to not ship your order over the weekend or during extreme heat.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Orders sent to an incorrect or incomplete address are NOT a assured delivery and may be assessed an additional fee. We reserve the right to charge you for the incorrect or incomplete address which has resulted in an additional fee from the carrier.
Chocolate Gourmet Candy cannot be held responsible for delivery when we are not provided with a complete and accurate address. Therefore, please check the ship to address before you finish placing your order. Make sure it is a correct postal delivery address, as well as a correct UPS and FedEx delivery address including the appropriate suite or apartment number.
Return/Refunds Policy
Because chocolates and decadent sweets are edible food items they are non-returnable and non-refundable. All sales on food products are final. Refused shipments will not receive a credit. However, if your order arrives damaged during shipment, please let us know.
Please Note: Chocolate Gourmet Candy is not responsible for melted chocolate. If you order a product – be there to receive the shipment. We do not process or issue refunds on melted chocolates.
Cancellation Policy
We try to ship all orders as soon as possible, and so, often there is no time to cancel or change an order. Please check your order carefully prior to submitting it.
If you need to change or cancel your order, please send an email to chocolates@chocolategourmetcandy.com. We will try to accommodate your request to change or cancel an order, within the first 24 hours of placing your order. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or change your order after it has been shipped.
Weather Delays
If your order is delayed, damaged or never delivered due to severe weather conditions, the carrier will not honor any guarantees, and therefore neither can we. Orders travel by airplane in most cases. If the weather delays a flight, or closes an airport, your order will be delayed.
Our carriers have no control over the weather, nor do we. Also we are not responsible for other carrier related delays.
