1. How do I store my chocolates?
Chocolates we ship are very fresh and should be eaten immediately upon opening. If the chocolates are not to be opened immediately, please store them in the refrigerator up to two weeks. Please allow our chocolates to come to room temperature before opening the container......allow two hours.
2. Can the chocolates be frozen?
Chocolates can be frozen up to two months. Chocolates we ship are very fresh and should be eaten immediately upon opening. If frozen, please allow our chocolates to warm to room temperature before opening the container......allow four hours. (Do not freeze cordials, do refrigerate and allow them to warm to room temperature before eating. Best if used within 10 days.)
3. Do your chocolates contain nuts?
Some of our chocolates do contain nuts. With chocolates being made on the same production line, chocolates not containing nuts may have come into contact with nuts and/or nut oils.
4. Tell me about your “Party Size” Apples?
“Party Size” apples are extra large and will serve 4 to 6 people. Each apple will last 2 to 3 weeks if refrigerated. Let it stand at room temperature 30 to 60 minutes before slicing to allow caramel and chocolate to reach natural consistency. Cut as many wedges that you plan to serve along the edge of the stick. Re-wrap and refrigerated remaining portions at 40 to 50 degrees, DO NOT FREEZE.
5. Can I request a catalog?
All Chocolate Gourmet Candy items are listed on our web site, we do not have a separate catalog.
6. How long can I keep fudge?
Fudge will stay fresh for 10 days to 2 weeks if properly wrapped or packaged. Keep fudge at room temperature. Refrigerating will dry it out. Fudge also freezes well. Make sure it is wrapped or packaged appropriately and it will keep for months.
7. What are “Fresh” gourmet chocolates?
“Fresh” gourmet chocolates are delicious chocolates that are made in small batches and shipped direct to the customer within days of production. Unlike some chocolates which are made months in advance of their shipment.
